Unitopia announced for RoSfest 2010

RoSfest is excited to be bringing our first band from down under! Australian band Unitopia will be making their United States debut at RoSfest 2010, playing the second slot on Sunday May 2nd.

Unitopia is a musical adventure comprising the vocal/song writing skill of Mark Trueack, the production/song writing/keyboard/engineering & vocal skill of Sean Timms, the guitar & vocal prowess of Matt Williams, the bass and vocal talents of Shireen Khemlani and the combined drum/percussion batteries of Jamie Jones and Tim Irrgang.

Unitopia endeavors to draw from the heart and soul of the listener through thought provoking topics such as environmental awareness, political and social upheaval, media misrepresentation, the hectic pace of life and human relationships in a positive and uplifting light. Using progressive rock as a framework, Unitopia's music includes elements of world, classical, jazz, heavy rock and groove.

To date Unitopia has two studio recordings the 2005 release "More Then A Dream" and the 2008 release "The Garden". Both albums have received great reviews worldwide. Unitopia is currently in the studio recording new tracks for their upcoming new album "Artificial", which is expected to be released in the Spring of 2010, just in time for RoSfest.
