NIGHTWISH Tour the UK & Ireland Next Month

Finish Goth Metal Band Nightwish hit these shores for a 9-date tour commencing in London on March 25th.
Shows at Birmingham & two of the three dates in London have been sold out weeks ago.

Their latest album "Dark Passion Play" has been on my CD player ever since it was released and I cannot wait to here some of these songs played live.

Also new vocalist Anette Olzon(Ex-Alyson Avenue), is touring with Nightwish for the very first time.
On all dates Pain will be supporting, whose album "Psalms Of Extinction", won the best metal album 2007 award in Sweden.

Nightwish are nominated in five different categories for the Finnish "EMMA" award. They are; 'Band of the year', 'Best Metal Album', 'Best Album', 'Song of the year' & 'best Finnish artist'.
The Emma-gala takes place on the 8th of March in Kulttuuritalo, Helsinki.

Also, Nightwish has been nominated for the German "ECHO" award in the 'rock/alternative (international)' category.
The ECHO award ceremony will take place on February 15th in Berlin.
