Original Draft April 2007
Reviewed September 2007
The CRS generally allows cameras to gigs for STILL photography, although we do impose a few conditions to give our members benefits over non members.
MEMBERS may use any camera they wish, SLR or Non-SLR, however they must carry their membership card with them whilst they are carrying it as we do randomly check them. Please do not use your flash unit/turn your flash off.
NON MEMBERS may use small "domestic" cameras (how the CRS defines Domestic varies from time to time, but currently it's 5.0 Megapixel limited). Again, flash photography is not permitted.
OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHERS must carry WRITTEN PERMISSION from the band they intend to photograph, and will not be permitted to photograph support bands. Being an official photographer does not permit access to the stage/backstage.
Due to health and safety reasons we cannot permit tripods in the venue.
VIDEO is prohibited in all its forms, except official with written permission, whether it's camera phone or video camera. Please do not attempt to video our gigs. We monitor most major video hosting sites and report any unauthorised video posted.
AUDIO recording is prohibited in all forms.
Anyone found attempting to bootleg gigs (either video or audio) will be ejected/reported to the authorities.
